When a few changes are ready, you put them together in a release. Before anything reaches your live store, you see all of them working together on your preview store, and Ari checks them too. This page walks you through it, step by step.

1. Choose the changes

Press the round button with your initials, then Settings and Release management. You can also press the chat name at the top, then Draft a new release.

When you are happy with the list, press Preview release draft.

Changes you leave out stay safe in their chats. After this release, those chats ask you to bring in the latest changes before you carry on. It takes one click: see Your chats.

2. Ari puts the changes together

Ari opens a new chat for the release and combines your changes on your preview store. This can take a little while.

If two changes touch the same part of your store, Ari works out how to combine them. If that isn't possible, Ari asks you which one to keep and gives you a few options to choose from.

While you review a release, you can't start new chats. This keeps the release steady while you check it.

3. Review it

When the changes are in, your preview shows the release as it will go to your live store. Ari also shares a short list of checks: each change, your main pages, search, cart and checkout, and the admin.

Found something that isn't right? Tell Ari in this chat. From here on, only fixes go into the release, so nothing new slips in.
