Each change has its own chat. This page shows how to find a chat, put one away, and what it means when a chat is locked.

Finding a chat

Your chats, with Active, Archived and Released tabs.

Your chats, with Active, Archived and Released tabs.

Press the chat name at the top. You see your chats, newest first, with a search box above them.

Pick a chat to open it. The preview switches to show the change from that chat.

While Ari is working on a change, or while you review a release, you can't switch chats. The list opens again once that is done.

Putting a chat away

Done with a chat, or decided against the idea? Press the box on its row to archive it. It moves to the Archived tab. You can still open and read it, and you can bring it back from that tab at any time.

An archived change is not offered for a release. If you change your mind, bring the chat back first.

When a chat is locked

After a release

Once a change is released, its chat is locked. You can still read it, and the change is now part of your store. For anything new, start a new chat. It starts from your latest release, so the change is already in it.

Started before your latest release

A chat you started before your latest release shows Chat outdated. Your store has moved on since, so the chat needs the latest release brought in first. Press Pull changes and Ari takes care of it. This can take a little while. Then you can carry on as normal.

Why does this happen? Each release becomes the new starting point for your store. Bringing it into an older chat makes sure the change in that chat fits with everything you released since.
