You know your customers best. These tips help you turn what you have in mind into a change Ari can get right the first time.

Describe the result, not the steps

Say what your customers should see. Ari works out how to build it.

Instead of Try
“Make the home page better.” “On the home page, move the newsletter signup above the footer and make its button green.”
“Fix the menu.” “On phones, the menu stays open after I tap a link. It should close.”
“Add reviews.” “Show the star rating and the number of reviews under each product name on category pages.”
“Change the font.” “Use the attached font for all headings.” (with the font file attached)

Be specific where it matters

Show, don't only tell

Attach a screenshot of something you like, a sketch, your logo or a spreadsheet. A picture saves a lot of back and forth.

One change per chat

Keep each idea in its own chat. Then each change is easy to check, release or put aside on its own.

Answer Ari's questions

When Ari asks something, it is to save you a round of fixes. Not sure which option to pick? The one marked as recommended is a good place to start.
